Héctor López Conceiro is a Spanish translator, interpreter and language strategist at the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in Lausanne, Switzerland. In his role as the Spanish Translator at the IOC, Héctor ensures linguistic precision and oversees CAT tools and language technologies for the entire team while demonstrating a strategic approach to language solutions.

Before joining the IOC, Héctor engaged in conference interpreting at international events, coordinated localization projects, and successfully operated a freelance business. His clientele includes the International Olympic Committee, the World Health Organization, the International Labour Organisation, Arcadia Motion Pictures, and diverse language service providers.

Building on experiences in France and the United States, Héctor furthered his career in Switzerland, obtaining a Master of Arts in Conference Interpreting from the University of Geneva (ETI). Recognized for his extensive knowledge of language technologies, he is a solution-oriented professional with a client-centric approach and excellent analytical skills, making him an invaluable contributor in the evolving landscape of translation.

A French Sworn Translator appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a member of ASETRAD, the Spanish Association of Translators, Copy-editors, and Interpreters, Héctor skillfully combines linguistic expertise with a strategic mindset.
